The Pondicherry State Co-operative Union has started Training Institute in the name and style “The Pondicherry Institute of Co-operative Management during the year 1980. Every year nearly 20 and above training programmes were conducted for Co-operative Sector only.

The Pondicherry Institute of Co-operative Management apart from giving training to the co-operative sector started regular Diploma and Certificate courses for the benefit of the general public and now conducting various job oriented Diploma and Certificate courses
