| (a) Educational Qualification |
| Admission is done as per the directions issued by the Government of Puducherry and District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) every year. Candidates should have scored at least 50% of marks in Higher Secondary Examination. The duration of the course is 2 years in Tamil Medium. |

While selecting candidates from various groups of Higher Secondary course, the following ratio is followed in Puducherry Region.
Science Group - 50%
Arts Group - 30%
Vocational Group - 20% |

| Fees Application |
| Fee is collected as fixed by the Fee committee appointed by the Government of Puducherry. |
